Abstract

Introduction. Over the years, due to the implementation of the norms of the Entrepreneurial Code of the Republic of Kazakhstan regarding the protection of business interests, the number of scheduled and unscheduled inspections of controlled entities has significantly decreased, leading to a corresponding reduction in laboratory research.
Objective. To analyze the planned and ongoing optimization of the branch departments of the National Center for Expertise.
Methods. Statistical analysis of the volume of laboratory research and disinfection activities in the regional departments of the NCE Branch.
Results. Optimization measures were analyzed for compliance with the regulatory requirements on sanitary and epidemiological monitoring and possible social risks for their possible implementation and the development of a general strategy for the optimization of city/district departments.
Discussion. In Kazakhstan, as in many post-Soviet countries, the sanitary-epidemiological service is undergoing significant transformations, aligning with international and national regulations. Consequently, restructuring, optimizing, and modifying laboratory monitoring algorithms for controlled entities and environmental indicators are being implemented.
Conclusions. Based on the results of the conducted and forecasted activities, it can be concluded that laboratory support for the sanitary-epidemiological service remains crucial.
