Relevance. Acute cerebral circulatory disorders (Cerebrovascular Accidents, CVA) are a global problem of modern humanity, comparable to an epidemic due to the high incidence, prevalence, mortality, disability and disability, especially among the working-age population. According to official statistics, about 50,000 cases of stroke are registered annually in the Republic of Kazakhstan, of which 24% are fatal, including an inpatient mortality rate of 12%.
Aim of the study. The purpose of the study was to determine trends in CVA incidence dynamics in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Material and Methods. The research was mainly observational, with quantitative, analytical, and descriptive components. The information search was conducted in the main electronic literary databases. Statistical data, regulatory legal acts, orders, standards, and clinical protocols on the subject of research were also used.
Results and Discussion. The incidence rate of stroke in the Republic of Kazakhstan, despite the successes achieved in the organization of medical care, is growing and exceeds the rates in developed countries by 3 times.
Conclusion. This problem remains relevant and requires further improvement of the system of early diagnosis, prevention and timely treatment.
