Introduction. Postpartum In the course of working with biomaterials in the laboratory, there is a risk of adverse conditions, which may cause a biological hazard. A preliminary analysis of the risks arising from unfavorable conditions can ensure that unfavorable accidents, the onset of emergency situations and possible economic losses are avoided.
According to the given data, laboratory infection risk conditions, infection of personnel during work with pathogens have a high level of biological risk.
However, the organization of work in the laboratory, as well as control over the implementation of tasks for the prevention of the spread of pathogens and their pathogens, and ensuring the biosecurity of personnel are not adequately controlled due to the lack of management personnel and lack of training of personnel. Many personnel who work with biological materials are not fully aware of the risks and consequences of infection, and training activities on biosafety and bioprotection are rarely organized.
Purpose of the study. Аssessing the organization and precautions of the work of laboratory personnel.
Material and methods. The results of the work of the virology laboratory in 2021-2023 were analyzed and processed. Information obtained from the committee of sanitary and epidemiological control National Center of Expertise.
Results. The virology laboratory is accredited according to GOST ISO/IEC 17025-2019 dated April 29, 2020. The laboratory is accredited according to ST RK ISO 15189-2015 dated July 26, 2019. Pathogenic group II-IV permission dated July 30, 2020. The virology laboratory conducted 125126 tests in 2020 (including 118870 for Covid-19), in 2021 - 190946 tests, in 2022 - 29032 tests and in 2023 - 25145 tests. Results obtained: 99.1%. Received an international WHO certificate. The results of samples sent for sequencing to virology laboratories in other cities of Kazakhstan are 100%. The level of availability of laboratory personnel is 89.4%.
Discussion of results. Most of the studies in the virology laboratory were carried out in 2021, a total of 190946 studies, including 179177 studies on Covid-19, the rate of results obtained is 100%.
Conclusion. The information obtained allows us to analyze the situation based on the results of the work of the virology laboratory in 2021-2023, and analyze the provision of biosafety in the healthcare sector. The above measures are designed to address the risk of contamination from biological agents and how to prevent their spread using the example of virology laboratory personnel. The optimal ways to solve problems of labor organization and ensure the safety of workers when working with infectious agents are considered.
