COMPARATIVE DYNAMICS OF ONCOPATHOLOGY AMONG THE POPULATION OF SHYMKENT FOR 2019-2023 AND WAYS TO IMPROVE MEDICAL CARE

Relevance. Among the population around the world, the number of patients suffering from malignant neoplasms is growing. It also has a large share in the mortality structure. Any malignant tumor develops slowly, asymptomatically, but in the later stages it grows into adjacent organs and tissues and gives distant metastases, without causing pain. The condition, difficult to diagnose in the initial stages, leads to frequent complications and death of patients.
Target. Early diagnosis of cancer pathology and comprehensive radical treatment is one of the ways to reduce mortality.
Material and methods. Analysis of statistical data from the city oncology center for 2019-2023 and development of methods for early diagnosis and radical treatment.
Results. The data and results of providing comprehensive medical care to cancer patients were analyzed.
Discussion. The incidence of oncopathology is increasing all over the world, including in Kazakhstan. Accordingly, the number of patients in need of palliative care in the Shimkent city is increasing in 2023. In the first half of the year, the number of severe patients in need of palliative care amounted to 150 patients. For 6 months of 2023, the number of mobile team visits amounted to 1,394 to serve 150 severe cancer patients.
Conclusions. After analyzing this article, it can be concluded that, despite the considerable attention to palliative care in Kazakhstan, the issue of its physical accessibility is still very relevant.
